Highly Effective Teacher

Below is a copy of the Nevada Educator Professional Standards on which teachers are evaluated. They are similar to many state standards for teachers, and include areas such as commitment, professional growth and practices, obligations, engagement, and also includes a section for student perceptions.

Evaluations of my performance under these standards for the last three years are included below. I was rated as a “Highly Effective Teacher” each year, and continued to improve, with my average scores rising from a 3.63 to a 3.73 out of 4.

At the bottom is my most recent evaluation from 2019 – 2020, for which I was ranked as “Excellent” according to the district calculation using the Danielson framework. Due to the pandemic, my district “rolled-over” this evaluation for the years 2020 – 2021 and 2021 – 2022.
